Who we are

This website belongs to Shandong Sunbay New Material Co., Ltd. (临沂杉达新材料有限公司), a manufacturer of disposable food-contact packaging at No. 100 Lingong Road, Yihe New Area Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Linyi City, Shandong Province, China. What the enquiry form collects

The quotation form on the contact page asks for the information we need to price and answer a packaging enquiry:

• Your name and company name
• Your business email address and, if you choose to give it, a phone or WhatsApp number
• Your country and target market
• The product category you are interested in, the estimated quantity and your Incoterm preference
• Your message, including any item numbers or specifications you write into it
• Your confirmation that we may use the details to prepare a quotation and contact you about it

We use those details for one purpose: to answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and correspond with you about a possible order. We do not sell or rent enquiry details, and we do not use them for advertising.

Where the information goes: nothing is stored on this website

This website has no form-processing server, no database and no customer relationship system behind it. When you press “Send enquiry by email”, the page uses a small script in your browser to write your answers into a message and opens your own email programme with that message addressed to Jenni@sdsunbay.com. Nothing is transmitted to us until you press send inside your own email programme, and nothing is stored on the website at any point.

Once you do send it, the enquiry arrives as an ordinary email in our sales mailbox and is handled like any other business correspondence. Email is not an encrypted, end-to-end channel, so please do not send payment details, identity documents or other sensitive information through the form or by email.

The enquiry list in your own browser

When you use the “Add to enquiry” buttons in the catalogue, the items you pick are saved in your own browser’s local storage under the key sunbay.enquiry.v1. That list stays on your device: it is never sent to us automatically, and we cannot see it. It is included in the email only if you submit the enquiry form. You can remove it yourself at any time with the Clear list button on the contact page, or by clearing site data in your browser settings.

Cookies and third-party requests

This website sets no cookies of its own. It does not run analytics, advertising or social-media trackers, and the enquiry list described above is stored in your browser, not on a server.

Two third-party services are loaded by the pages themselves, and they are the only external requests the site makes:

• Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts on every page so that the site displays in its intended typeface. Google receives the request, which necessarily includes your IP address and browser details.
• The location map on the contact page is an embedded frame from OpenStreetMap, which loads only when you open that page. The same applies: the provider receives the request, including your IP address. If you block the frame, the address details are still shown in the panel behind it.

How long we keep enquiry information

There is no retention period on this website, because this website stores nothing. Enquiry emails that reach our sales mailbox are kept for as long as they are needed to answer the enquiry and to service any order that follows from it — typically the life of the commercial relationship and the period required by accounting and export rules that apply to us. You can ask us to delete an enquiry at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep a specific record by law.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade enquiry details. Information you send may be seen by the colleagues who prepare your quotation, and — only where it is necessary to answer your enquiry or to fulfil an order — by service providers such as a freight forwarder, a courier or a testing laboratory. We do not share it for marketing purposes.

Your requests

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Send the request from the email address you used for the enquiry to Jenni@sdsunbay.com with the subject line “Data request”. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, and we will tell you what we have done with the request.

Changes to this notice

This is a draft and it will change. The date at the top of the page shows when the current text was written, and the reviewed version will replace it in full rather than being amended in place.
